I prefer to spend my food dollars on fresh local food. The fact that there is a program now that supports local food growers is so important. Growing and supporting our community in all ways, keeps our community healthy, and alive! Nothing tastes better that produce that is fresh and ripe the way it was intended to be!

The Ottawa Street Market has an abundance of fresh produce and fruit. We look forward to market days, rain or shine.

There is always a friendly face and do not be surprised how many new friends you will make along the way.

I love the Ottawa Street Farmers Market.
Most of the fresh produce for my cafe comes from the market and I love that I can get a lot of it year-round. I love that the vendors are actually farmers and not re-sellers. I love that I get to make connections with where the food actually comes from. Food matters. Quality matters.
You have done a great job with the market and also with the website. Kudos to everyone involved.

We love our Saturday strolls through the Ottawa Street Market. The produces is the freshest and the prices are really good. The best meal of the week is always the one made Saturday night with our purchases from that morning's shopping. We have come to know many of the farmers and vendors and look forward to seeing their faces from week to week. A truly awesome place to come on a regular basis.

Ottawa St market has the absolute freshest produce I've ever had... I swear by it and will be coming back for many, many years! I never miss a Saturday!
